Required Documents:

• Proof for our records of current rabies vaccinations (including their expiration date and where they were issued), or a rabies titer test.

• Your vet may send these by email (bubblemuttsofyork@gmail.com) or you may bring a printed copy and allow us to photograph it for our records.

• Please note we WILL NOT be able to perform grooming services for you without proof of these vaccines. Thank you for your understanding.

Safety Policies:

• For legal and safety reasons we require paper proof of rabies vaccination or a current titer test.

• Dematting a dog is often a touchy subject. We will make all reasonable efforts to keep your dog fluffy. But please be aware that we will not compromise your dog’s safety and comfort to do so.

• We ask that all customers disclose medical issues that their dog may have. These will not necessarily affect our willingness to service your dog, only guide the care and consideration we take to accommodate them.

• For the safety of our animals and for our human clients we only allow ONE extra human in our van at a time, and we may insist that that human wear personal protective gear. Please note that no discourtesy is meant, and we regret any discomfort this may cause: we merely wish to ensure a safe environment for you and your fur baby!

• If at any point we determine that your dog is in immediate danger we reserve the right to abort service, and will make all due effort to explain why/seek any necessary treatment.

• If you wish for us to visit your home in your absence we will discuss security and safety planning with you IN PERSON well in advance of any grooming visits. Please take this into account when making your plans.

Weather Policies:

• Oh, the weather outside is frightful~! During Winter or in the event of high winds/heavy rains road conditions may become unsafe. We will notify affected clients as soon as possible and make every effort to reschedule promptly. Thank you for understanding!
